Stabilisation for your gabions. Attach and assemble the grid mats on both sides to the posts. These posts can be used as an anchoring element to keep slim gabion components from tilting. They provide the necessary support. There is virtually no structural integrity in the wire of a gabion column. These columns will require internal support posts imbedded in concrete and spaced on post anchors. Once the posts have been either set into the ground or set in concrete, depending on component dimensions and ground conditions, the gabions are simply placed over them and filled. The planting depth of the posts in the ground is determined according to ground conditions at the site, the bond length into the basket according to the basket height.
